«Sonidos del corazón» is the young adult novel by Jordi Sierra i Fabra, published by Alba Editorial in paperback (384 pages, in Spanish).
Juanjo, a sixteen-year-old boy, has inherited the musical gift of his parents, who formed the Renegados de la Vía Apia. He invites Valeria, a Russian violinist, to his band; Lester, an old rock manager and friend of his father, reveals the history of the genre to them before each rehearsal. Love, family and music structure the plot.
It belongs to the Joven collection from Alba Editorial. It was published when Jordi Sierra i Fabra completed forty years as a writer; it is his four hundredth book.
Recommended for young readers, especially for those who enjoy stories about music, first loves and the search for one's own path.
