«So ist das nämlich mit Vicky» is the children's novel by Dagmar Chidolue, illustrated by Rotraut Susanne Berner, published by Beltz in paperback.
The story pits two very different girls against each other: Vicky, small and always in a dress, tells lies and fantasies that never happen; Nele, tall and thin, wears trousers and a shirt. When the Wagner family goes on holiday to Spain and Pia, Nele's sister, stays home, Vicky goes along and the contrast between the two becomes clear.
Novel in German, published in 2000 in Beltz's Gulliver series; this paperback edition has 208 pages.
For child and young adult readers, especially children up to 11 who are starting to read novels.
