«SLAM!» is the graphic novel written by Pamela Ribbon and illustrated by Veronica Fish, published by Fandogamia Editorial in paperback (104 pages, in Spanish).
During the initiation of the Eastside Roller Girls, Jennifer and Maisie connect immediately and become friends. When they are selected for rival teams, competition and increasingly complicated private lives put their relationship to the test. Roller derby appears as a sport of hits and falls where one also learns to get up, even if the heart feels the impacts.
Published in February 2018 within the SLAM! series, translated from English by Liza Pluijter and coloured by Brittany Peer.
Graphic novel with female protagonists, for young and adult readers fond of sport and friendship stories.
