Silvio en el rosedal is a moving story by the renowned author Julio Ramón Ribeyro. In this story, Ribeyro combines depth and transparency, symbolic density and lyrical serenity. Through the obsession of the protagonist, a frustrated violinist, with the hidden meaning of the signs drawn by the peculiar arrangement of the flowers in his garden, and the love passion that unexpectedly bursts into his life, this story reveals the insurmountable distance that separates the secret inner world of the individual and the surrounding reality.
