«Seis pollitos recién nacidos» is a children's story by Pedro María García Franco, published by Editorial Bruño in paperback (24 pages, in Spanish).
A story starring six chicks that helps children become familiar with the number six: the figure appears repeatedly in the narrative and its written form is visually highlighted in the text. It includes comprehension games, number identification, associating images with quantities, and connections to everyday life; to finish, it suggests colouring and cutting out a card and a number to form sequences.
The work bears the subtitle «Juega con el 6», belongs to the collection «El zoo de los números» as the sixth volume, and is illustrated by Tría 3.
Recommended for early readers aged 3 to 6 who are beginning to recognise numbers and take their first steps in reading.
