«Sed realistas, pedid lo imposible» is a collection of graffiti, slogans and posters from '68 by Manuel Serrat Crespo, published by Edhasa in hardback.
The book brings together a sample of the graffiti, slogans and posters that filled the walls during the May 1968 events in France. Those slogans turned graffiti into a medium of political and philosophical expression, and the selection preserves their humour, imagination and poetic charge, as a testimony to a rebelliousness that still speaks to us today.
It belongs to the Aforismos collection and corresponds to the first edition, published in 2008 with selection and translation by Manuel Serrat Crespo.
Aimed at readers interested in the dissenting thought of 1968, the history of student uprisings and graffiti culture.
Spanish translator and writer (1942-2014)
