«Schattentheater» is a children's shadow theatre book by Denny Robson and Vanessa Bailey, published by Bassermann in hardback (32 pages, in German).
The book teaches how to set up a homemade shadow theatre: how to create characters and scenes with hands and with figures cut out of card or other materials, and how to project them onto the wall. The explanations combine text and images so children can follow them without difficulty.
1991 edition; on the cover it appears as «Schatten Theater» with the subtitle «Spiel & Spaß».
A starting point for getting into shadow theatre, especially suitable for children and for sharing with the family.
