«Schaduw Zuster» is a literary thriller novel by Simone Van Der Vlugt, published by Anthos in paperback (339 pages, in Dutch).
Twins Lydia and Elisa are identical, yet opposites. Lydia's orderly life as a demanding teacher falls apart when a student, Bilal, threatens her with a knife. Anonymous letters, a vandalised car, and a guard outside her home heighten the suspense: is it Bilal or someone closer? And what role does Elisa play?
The original Dutch title also appears as «Schaduwzuster». The work was first published on 19 March 2005.
For readers of thrillers and crime fiction interested in suspenseful plots and dynamics between sisters.
