«Savarese 8» is a noir detective comic by Robin Wood and Domingo Mandrafina, published by Eura Editoriale in hardback, in Italian.
The action follows Savarese through the underworld of New York, in a crime story with a film noir feel: dialogue about dirty money, the law, and a territory ruled by improvised rules, with characters like Don Vito. The panels, in black and white with colour backgrounds, use an expressive classic Italian comic style.
The cover shows it as number 141 of the Euracomix collection, TuttoColore line, with the episode «Arriverà l'inverno».
For fans of Italian crime comics and classic noir, with a mafia and underworld atmosphere.
Robin Wood was a Paraguayan comic book writer and author. He is mostly known for his classical work in Argentine comics and his later work in European comics.
