«Salmos» is the poetry collection by Ernesto Cardenal, published by Ediciones Endymion in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
This book brings together a series of psalms written by the Nicaraguan poet Ernesto Cardenal, one of the most representative voices of twentieth-century Latin American poetry. In these poems, Cardenal engages with the biblical psalms from a contemporary and committed perspective, addressing injustice, oppression and hope in a direct, conversational language.
This edition, published in Madrid in 1990, belongs to the Poesía collection of Ediciones Endymion and consists of 96 pages in paperback.

Ernesto Cardenal Martínez was a Nicaraguan Catholic priest, revolutionary, poet, and politician. A former member of the Nicaraguan Sandinistas, he was Nicaragua's minister of culture from 1979 to 1987. He was prohibited from administering the sacraments in 1984 by Pope John Paul II, but rehabilitated by Pope Francis in 2019.
