«Sad Flowers Also Bloom» is the collection of poems and micro-stories by Javier Mateos Ballester, published by Independently published in paperback, 106 pages.
Starting from the relationship between a flower and the soil that holds it, the book reflects on memories as nutrients and on the need to respect one's own timing to grow. Through poems and micro-stories, it addresses love, heartbreak and introspection with a poetic and erotic gaze.
The edition, published in 2019, is written in Spanish and its cover reproduces a minimalist black-and-white drawing.
For readers of poetry and micro-stories with sensitivity towards eroticism and introspection.
