«¿Sabes una cosa?» is the young adult novel by Mikaël Ollivier and illustrated by Francesc Rovira, published by Alhambra in paperback (128 pages, in Spanish).
Dafne de Maurier is eleven years old, though that age is just one of the things she makes up. When her family moves to a luxury housing estate, the girl hides her real life and tells each new neighbour a different story to feel accepted. Her diary reveals what lies behind those lies: her reality and her worries.
It belongs to Alhambra's Green Series, translated by Susana Vázquez Jiménez; its Spanish edition was published in 2003.
For child and young adult readers: the protagonist invents a new life after a move and the reader discovers her reality through her diary.
