«Roma Antigua en tebeo» is the children's comic by Maurilio Tavormina, published by Vision in paperback (88 pages, in Spanish).
The cat Cicero guides a didactic tour of ancient Rome: it shows daily life, the great monuments and spectacles such as those of the Colosseum or the Circus Maximus. The comic explains why the Colosseum was built, what happened in the Circus Maximus and presents Rome, the «eternal city», as the cradle of Western civilisation.
It belongs to the Vision Kids series. The Spanish edition was published on 1 April 2009 and includes twelve reconstructions.
Aimed at young readers interested in the history of Rome who seek a visual and enjoyable approach.
