«Quiero escribir una historia de amor» is a young adult novel by Louise Plummer, published by Montena in paperback (170 pages, in Spanish).
Kate wants to write the perfect romance novel and has a manual to help her do it. Her inspiration ends up being her own life: a love that seems impossible and a routine that is anything but exciting. Over thirteen chapters, the narrative combines humour and tenderness to talk about adolescence, first love and self-expression.
The work belongs to the Chicas collection and is number 21 in that series. Its original title is The Unlikely Romance of Kate Bjorkman and the Spanish translation is by María Ángeles Cabré.
Aimed at young readers looking for a light, humorous romantic novel.
