«Quatre elefants elegants» is a children's story by Pedro María García Franco, published by Editorial Brúixola in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
With four elephants as protagonists, the story introduces the number 4 in a playful way: the figure is repeated throughout the narrative and also appears highlighted in the text, so children can recognise it both by ear and by sight. Designed to accompany the first steps in reading and in early mathematical concepts.
The subtitle is «Juga amb el 4». It is the fourth title in the collection El zoo dels números and the illustrations are by Tría 3.
Recommended for children aged 3 and up who are beginning to recognise numbers and taking their first steps in reading.
