«Quaderni russi. Sulle tracce di Anna Politkovskaja» is the graphic reportage by Igort, published by Coconino Press in paperback (176 pages, in Italian).
Igort reconstructs in panels the Russia of the Putin era: the murder of Anna Politkovskaja, the Chechen war, the Beslan massacre and the gas attack on Moscow's Dubrovka theatre. The author gives voice to the victims and to those who resisted, in a graphic testimony that shuns the reporter's distance.
Second volume of the Notebooks of Igort series, winner of the Micheluzzi Award for best comic in 2012.
For readers of non-fiction comics interested in recent Russian history, journalism and the defence of human rights.
