«Pupi y los piratas» is the children's humour and adventure story by María Menéndez-Ponte, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
At Rosy's birthday, Aloe gives her some jelly sweets that someone steals. The gang chases the thief and ends up in the middle of the ocean, facing a sweet galleon crewed by pirates who want to capture them. Pupi must decide how to face the pirates while discovering why it's not a good idea to overdo the jelly sweets.
Published in 2016, it is number 14 in the Pupi series, within the El Barco de Vapor Blanca collection, with illustrations by Javier Andrada.
For boys and girls aged 6 to 7 who enjoy humour, friendship and adventures.
