«Puesta de largo» is a collection of short stories by Luis Á. Estalayo, published by Talón de Aquiles in paperback (138 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together stories that start from the idea that characters create the story, not the other way around; the author merely lends them his voice and seeks a framework that expresses the drive of each soul. In the shadow of these stories appear overflowing imagination, precarious life, the absurd, emotion and some unfinished business.
Readers of contemporary fiction looking for short story collections focused on characters and on the absurd and sentimental side of life.
