«Prutsers en pechvogels» is a young adult book of historical anecdotes by Jozua Douglas and Tosca Menten, published by Van Goor in hardback, in Dutch.
Tosca Menten and Jozua Douglas, the duo De Gouden Grijns, collect anecdotes inspired by an exhibition of historical blunders: no heroes or medals, but wigs catching fire, gentlemen sinking, and tulip bulbs ending up in the soup.
Its subtitle is «Over historische missers». Published in 2020, with 248 pages and illustrations by Geert Gratama.
For young readers who want to approach history through funny anecdotes and far from exemplary characters.
