«Prohibido suicidarse en primavera» is the play by Alejandro Casona published by Edaf in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
A theatrical work that addresses the happiness and unhappiness of two brothers marked by a double-faced destiny, in a critique of urban society. It uses suicide as a backdrop to reject it and extol life, with nature and spring as a symbol of the force that revives the will to live.
It belongs to the Nueva Biblioteca Edaf collection, Teatro 024 series, and includes a prologue by Mauro Armiño.
Recommended for readers of classic Spanish theatre and for those familiar with Casona's work.

Alejandro Rodríguez Álvarez, known as Alejandro Casona was a Spanish poet and playwright born in Besullo, Spain, a member of the Generation of '27. Casona received his bachelor's degree in Gijon and later studied at the University of Murcia. After Franco's rise in 1936, he was forced, like many Spanish intellectuals, to leave Spain. He lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina until April 1962, when he definitively returned to Spain.
