«Preguntas a un maestro zen» is the Zen spirituality work by master Taisen Deshimaru, published by Kairós in paperback (154 pages, in Spanish).
Zen master Taisen Deshimaru answers a wide-ranging questionnaire on Zen practice and philosophy: ego, karma, suffering, consciousness, death, and the zazen posture. He also addresses awakening, impermanence, breathing, and concepts such as shikantaza, as well as Zen's relationship with the West and other religions.
This second edition includes Francisco Fernández Villalba's (Dokushô Villalba) translation of 'Questions à un maître zen'.
Aimed at zazen practitioners and readers with prior knowledge of Zen Buddhism, rather than those seeking a first introduction.
Taisen Deshimaru was a Japanese Sōtō Zen Buddhist teacher, who founded the Association Zen Internationale.
