«Pomelo al otro lado del huerto» is the children's story by Ramona Bâdescu and illustrated by Benjamin Chaud, published by Kókinos in paperback.
The little elephant Pomelo is going through a confusing stage: growing and changing isn't easy for him, and he feels strange, lonely, sad, and a bit scared. Even so, he knows he must say goodbye to his familiar garden to discover what lies on the other side: the world. A tender and moving story about leaving the known behind.
It belongs to the Pomelo series. The original French title is Pomelo s'en va de l'autre côté du jardin, and the Spanish translation is by Esther Rubio Muñoz.
A picture book especially suitable for children aged 4 to 6, useful for talking about changes and transitions.
Ramona Badescu is a Romanian author of children's literature, mainly known for her children book series Pomelo the Garden Elephant.
