Poesía masculina

Synopsis of Poesía masculina

«Poesía masculina» is Luna Miguel's poetry collection, published by La Bella Varsovia in paperback, 80 pages, in Spanish.

Luna Miguel bids farewell to the label of «la poeta del cuerpo» with fast-paced narrative poems exploring desire, tenderness and friendship. From the voice of a «macho», she peers into masculine contradictions and tries to love like a man, while asking how to look at one's own intimacy with another's eyes and how to be generous after separation.

Published in May 2021, it is part of the Trilogía del macho and received an honorable mention at the I Premio Subirana de Poesía for best book of 2021.

For readers of contemporary poetry interested in feminism, new masculinities and the poetic gaze on intimacy.
