The volume brings together two poetic works by Paul Verlaine: Poèmes saturniens and Fêtes galantes. His verses move between melancholy, love and the fleeting beauty of life, with the musicality that characterises the author within French symbolism.
The book belongs to Librio's «Texte intégral» collection, reproduces the complete text and includes a presentation by Léo Ferré and notes by Claude Cuénot.
Recommended for readers of classical poetry and French literature who wish to access Verlaine in his original language.
