«Pinyons de maduixa» is a children's and young adult fantasy book by Josep Gòrriz, published by Barcanova in paperback (96 pages, in Catalan).
A ghost who prefers telling jokes to scaring, a vain and pretty witch, an absent-minded wizard, a vegetarian ogre who is disgusted by eating children, and a gluttonous mermaid live in the world of imagination. A mad sage punishes them and grey colour invades everything; Helena and Bernat are the only ones who know the magic formula to help them.
The book belongs to the collection «Llibres infantils i juvenils - Pluja de llibres +8» and is the first edition. The illustrations are by Marta Balaguer.
This book is recommended for readers aged 8 to 10, and can be used in primary education to work on self-esteem, fantasy and humour.
