«Pintura i escultura» is Núria Roca's children's art guide, published by RBA Molino in hardback (36 pages, in Catalan).
In the book, children visit a museum and learn to understand painting and sculpture through colours, shapes, shadows and other elements of art. With simple questions without correct answers, it proposes activities with wax crayons and paints so that little ones start creating and recognise their own artistic preferences.
The book is the third volume of the «What is Art?» series. It was published in 2003 by RBA Molino within the «Infantil Català» collection.
It is aimed at early primary school years; useful for teachers in the classroom and for parents who want to introduce their children to art at home.
Nuria Roca Granell is a Spanish writer, TV presenter, actress, radio announcer and architect.
