«Perro Apestoso va al cole» is the children's story by Colas Gutman, published by Blackie Books in hardback (76 pages, in Spanish).
Perro Apestoso starts school with his usual enthusiasm: he tries not to fall asleep in class, to play football without getting tangled up with the ball, and to finally learn to read so he can decipher the labels on what he finds in the rubbish. With his inexhaustible optimism, he proves that behind his scruffy appearance beats a big heart.
Part of the Perro Apestoso series. Original title: Chien Pourri à l'école, translated by Jan Martí and illustrated by Marc Boutavant.
Recommended for children aged 7 and up, especially for those who enjoy humorous animal stories.
