«Peligro en el campamento» is the children's novel by Nancy E. Krulik, published by Círculo de Lectores in 2007, in hardback (120 pages, in Spanish).
Katie is an ordinary girl who can transform into other people. Her class spends two days at a nature school, but the instructor is so strict she seems determined that no one has fun. When Katie becomes the instructor during a hike, she leads the group astray into the forest and gets them lost. A school story with humor about the responsibility of fixing what one has caused.
It is the sixth title in the series «El secreto mágico de Katie Kazoo» (Katie Kazoo, Switcheroo), with illustrations by John and Wendy.
Aimed at primary school readers looking for school stories with magic and humor.
Nancy E. Krulik is the author of more than 200 books for children and young adults, including three New York Times bestsellers.
