«Parco» is the young adult novel by Jordi Sierra i Fabra, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in hardback (144 pages, in Spanish).
The action begins in a reformatory: a young man who has committed murder tries to make his way. His flight becomes a portrait of fear, anguish and survival of those living on the margins, narrated with a dry, direct voice that sustains a mystery to the end.
Winner of the 10th Anaya Prize for Children's and Young Adult Literature. Reading age: from 14 years.
Aimed at young readers interested in a social, raw and realistic novel about life on the margins.
