«Para Abrir as Ciências Sociais» is the report of the Gulbenkian Commission, published by Cortez Editora in Portuguese.
A collective report that analyses the field of the social sciences and proposes opening them to a new framework of knowledge. The title and subtitle summarise the central idea: rethink the organisation of these disciplines, overcome the traditional boundaries between them, and guide their restructuring in the face of contemporary challenges.
The cover features the subtitle «para a Reestruturação das Ciências Sociais» and does not mention an individual author; the work appears under the name of the Gulbenkian Commission.
For those who study or work in the social sciences and seek a reflection on the transformation of these disciplines.
