«Palabras Blancas» is a children's poetry book by Elvira Riveiro Tobío, illustrated by Fino Lorenzo, published by Xerais in paperback (80 pages, in Galician).
Children's poetry book in Galician that plays with language: the text is built only with the vowel «a», a stylistic exercise that shows early readers the expressive possibilities of the language. Fino Lorenzo's illustrations accompany the work, finalist for the Merlín Prize for children's literature 2007.
Belongs to the Infantil E Xuvenil-Merlín collection from Xerais, aimed at readers aged 9 to 12.
Recommended for young readers from 9 years old who are starting out in poetry and for those seeking children's literature in Galician.
