«Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha» is Roddy Doyle's literary fiction novel, published by Vintage Classics in paperback (240 pages, in English).
The novel follows Paddy Clarke, a ten-year-old boy growing up in Barrytown, north Dublin, amid street mischief and games. While admiring heroes like Geronimo and George Best, Paddy witnesses the growing distance between his parents and tries to make sense of an adult world he doesn't understand, told through a child's perspective and language.
It won the Booker Prize in 1993. This Vintage Classics edition, part of the Irish Classics collection, was published in 2010; the work originally appeared in 1993.
