«Otra broma de Élmer» is the children's picture book by David McKee, published by Fondo de Cultura Económica in hardback (28 pages, in Spanish).
Elmer, the elephant with the multicoloured patchwork skin, is bored two days before the Elmer Day parade, when the other elephants paint themselves in bright colours. He, instead, always paints himself grey and is the only grey elephant in the parade, so he decides to go for a walk while thinking of a new prank to surprise his friends.
The original English edition, «Elmer Again», is from 1991; the Spanish edition is from 1994 and belongs to the A la orilla del viento collection.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 8, especially for those who already know the colourful elephant.
David John McKee, was a British writer and illustrator, chiefly of children's books and animations.
