«Ojos negros» is the children's story by Lluís Farré Estrada, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
In the Calatayud family, everyone is born with olive-green eyes, so the birth of a child with black eyes causes a small scandal. To avoid stares, his parents put dark glasses on him, but the boy soon wonders why being different should be a problem. A fun and moving story, with illustrations, about accepting difference and inclusion.
Part of the El Barco de Vapor Blanca collection, number 134. Lluís Farré Estrada is also the author of the illustrations.
Recommended for early readers aged 6 to 8.
