«O Passeio da Dona Rosa» is the children's picture book by Pat Hutchins, published by Kalandraka in hardback (36 pages, in Portuguese).
Dona Rosa, a hen, goes for a walk around the lake on the farm while a fox follows her without her noticing, in a chase full of mishaps. With simple-line illustrations and vivid colours, the book weaves brief sentences with high visual content and a circular structure on two reading levels.
The work was originally published in 1968; this Portuguese edition by Kalandraka appeared in 2011.
Recommended by the Portuguese National Reading Plan for children aged 2 to 3.
