«O Lugar» is the story adapted for theatre by Daniela Vieitas, published by Frente e Verso in hardback (52 pages, in Portuguese).
A woman and a man meet at the beginning of everything; their relationship humanises the non-place and turns it into a habitable and creative space. The narrative also shows tensions between them, wounds left by incomprehension that only love can heal. The backdrop of «O Lugar» is the first three chapters of Genesis.
The original edition was published in 2014 and the illustrations are by Margarida Ramos.
For readers interested in illustrated stories with a biblical backdrop and reflections on love and the encounter between man and woman.
