«O local» is the graphic novel by Gipi, published by 100 Sentidos in 2007 (118 pages, in Portuguese).
Gipi observes a group of young people who gather in a space of their own, a small world where desires, hopes and disappointments coexist. With a nervous and sensitive line, he builds a rough and moving coming-of-age story, an honest portrait of a generation seeking its place.
The work was originally published in Italian as «Questa è la stanza» in 2005.
A work for readers of graphic novels and realistic fiction, with a generational portrait close to a young audience.
