Synopsis of O Artista da Morte

Gabriel Allon, a former agent of the Israeli secret service, seeks to escape his past and live a quiet life as an art restorer. However, his former mentor recruits him to neutralize Tariq, the Palestinian terrorist responsible for the destruction of his family in Vienna. In this mission, Gabriel is assisted by Jacqueline Delacroix, an undercover Israeli agent. Together, they face their ghosts and the guilt that torments Gabriel since he became involved with Jacqueline on a previous mission. The search becomes a global duel, fueled by political intrigue and personal passions, in a world where secrecy and duplicity are the norm.
