«O achado do castro» is the play by Manuel Núñez Singala, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (80 pages, in Galician).
The action takes place in ancient Rome, but the characters speak with modern terms, producing a peculiar Latin and comic situations. There is a not-too-bright emperor, soldiers, bearded philosophers and sages, and a love story. The play is short and its humour makes it a gripping read despite its brief length.
«O achado do castro» is number 82 in Editorial Galaxia's Costa Oeste collection and was published in June 2014.
The book is aimed at young readers and fans of humorous theatre in Galician.
