«Nura» is the poetry collection by Ponç Pons Giménez, published by Quaderns Crema in paperback (48 pages, in Catalan).
Nura is an extensive poem through which the author attempts to conjure away longing and his difficult condition as a Minorcan islander, which makes him feel a foreigner anywhere. The work is structured in seven parts, composed as an oratorio or requiem with a dodecasyllabic rhythm; its verses echo Pessoa, Holan and Spinoza.
Number 57 of the «Poesia dels Quaderns Crema» collection. Winner of the Premi Nacional de la Crítica and the Premi de la Crítica Serra d'Or.
Aimed at readers of poetry in Catalan and a general audience interested in contemporary lyric.
