«Número 5. El submarí perdut» is the adventure novel by Lluís Llort, illustrated by Oriol Malet, published by Barcanova in hardback (304 pages).
Nuno Peixoto, a Portuguese scientist, recounts in 2007 the adventures that began in 2001, when a clue about the mysterious «líquido transmatérico» led him to the island of Madeira. There, with the help of Agripina, he found a trunk with documents revealing a secret World War II project: six submarines were to circumnavigate the globe, and the winner would decide the war. In his search for the lost submarine, Nuno met Silvana Darinka, in a tale of humour, history and hidden treasures.
The book was published on 13 October 2011.
Aimed at young readers aged 14 and over and at those who enjoy adventures with a historical background and humour.
