«Note book» is the contemporary fiction novel by Pako Aristi, published by Erein Argitaletxea in paperback (160 pages, in Basque).
The book starts from an anecdote by Ryszard Kapuściński, who discovered with satisfaction that his books appeared in seven different sections of a New York bookstore. Aristi claims a similar freedom for a work that moves between journalism, fiction, essay and poetry, observing the theatre of everyday life and examining the steps of existence with a mixture of hardness and tenderness.
First edition published on 11 October 2005; volume 4 of Erein's Bakanak collection.
Work for the general public interested in contemporary Basque narrative and in proposals that mix reflection and fiction.
