«La follia que ve de les nimfes» is Roberto Calasso's essay on the figure of the nymph, published by Quaderns Crema in 2007 in paperback (124 pages, in Catalan).
The essay reconstructs the meaning of the nymph as a figure behind the «divine madness» that the Greeks revered before reason, an erotic possession that fascinates men and gods. From this axis, Calasso analyzes works such as Nabokov's Lolita, Hitchcock's Rear Window, and Gilda's glove, and recalls Kurt Wolff, Kafka's editor. The Catalan edition adds two studies absent from the Italian one, «Una moneda al riu» and «Al marge de Ka».
