«Nátt» is the suspense novel by Icelandic writer Ragnar Jónasson, published by Points in paperback (312 pages, in French).
In Siglufjördur, summer brings no darkness: the sun barely sets, and Ari Thór, the town's police officer, faces the discovery of a man beaten to death by the fjord. As a young journalist gets too close, the ashes of Eyjafjallajökull tinge the Icelandic sky and bring to light grudges the community preferred to bury.
Nátt is the third volume in Ragnar Jónasson's Dark Iceland series; the original Icelandic, Myrknætti, was published in 2011 and this French edition features a translation by Philippe Reilly.
For readers of crime fiction, thriller and Nordic noir, with a police investigation set in Iceland.
Ragnar Jónasson is an Icelandic author of crime fiction. He is the author of the bestselling Dark Iceland series, set in and around Siglufjörður, and featuring Detective Ari Thor.
