«Mundial 2002» is the humour comic by Francisco Ibáñez featuring Mortadelo and Filemón, published by Ediciones B in paperback (44 pages, in Spanish).
Mortadelo and Filemón, agents of the T.I.A., get caught up in a case related to the 2002 Football World Cup. Between matches, national teams and security measures, the pair star in chases and misunderstandings that bring Ibáñez's humour to the pitch. The comic parodies the atmosphere of the championship and the absurd situations surrounding football.
Published in 2002. An instalment of the Mortadelo and Filemón series, numbered 162 on the cover.
