«Moi, Félix, 10 ans, sans-papiers» is the children's novel by Marc Cantin, published by Milan Jeunesse in paperback (138 pages, in French).
Félix is ten years old and has arrived in France from Ivory Coast without legal status. Between the memory of the cocoa and coffee fields he left behind and the clandestine life in his new country, the boy narrates his daily life as an undocumented immigrant, with his eyes set on a future in which he hopes to become French.
The work is number 21 in the 'Tranche de vie' collection, within the Poche Junior series, published in 2007.
For young readers: an approach to immigration and identity from a child's perspective.
