In 'Ways of Seeing', John Berger explores how our ways of seeing influence our interpretation of the world, especially in art. Through seven essays, Berger analyzes oil painting, the role of women in art, the relationship between visual heritage and advertising, and the transformation of the original work in its reproductions. This book has become an essential title in art theory and visual communication, inviting reflection on how we perceive and understand the images that surround us.
