«Miranda Hippocampus o la Isla del Aire» is the children's adventure book by Emma Cohen, published by Anaya in 1990 in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
The story begins with a surprising encounter at Cala Mora: as he pulls in the net, the narrator notices a strange weight, and a creature like a seahorse, but bigger, clings to his arm and seems to want to tell him something, though it only emits a muffled whistle. That mystery leads to the Island of Air and a maritime fantasy adventure.
It is number 32 in the Luna de Papel collection and features illustrations by Ceberre.
Aimed at children and young readers who enjoy mysteries and sea creatures.
