«Mira si yo te querré» is the romantic novel by Luis Leante, published by Punto de Lectura in hardback (320 pages, in Spanish).
Montse Cambra, a doctor in Barcelona, comes across an old photograph by chance that drives her to follow the footsteps of Santiago San Román, the love of her youth. The search takes her into the Sahara, where a community cut off from the world and the harshness of the desert force her to reconsider her life, in a story that links past and present.
The novel was originally published in 2007, the year it was awarded the Premio Alfaguara de Novela.
For readers of romantic novels and contemporary fiction in Spanish, with a story that moves between Barcelona and the Sahara.
