A Spanish professor arrives in Morocco with the aim of finishing a novel. He settles in Mimoun, a town in the Atlas Mountains, where he becomes entangled in a web of complex relationships. The characters he meets, such as Francisco, Hassan, Aixa, Rachida, or Charpent, become enigmatic figures that reflect his own confusion. Charpent, a mysterious exile, offers him a perspective on his destiny. The novel explores the search for the strength to continue living in a hostile environment. With a suggestive style, the narration is tense and passionate, inviting reflection on the human condition and destiny.
